Measuring up!
You’ve chosen your party venue, selected the bunting design that’s just right for you …. but how do you make sure buy enough to get the desired effect?
There isn’t really any hard and fast rule as every customer’s tastes are slightly different! We usually advise customers who are unsure about how much bunting they might need or are decorating a large venue to use a long tape (or a ball of string) and drape it where the bunting will hang. This will allow you to experiment with the layout, and decide where you want the bunting to hang as well as decide how much ‘drape’ you want to allow. Once you’re happy measure the total length!
If this isn’t practical, you could measure the approximate perimeter you are looking to decorate and add 25% to 50% on to allow for the bunting to ‘drape’.
